A great days racing well done jake n mary and bobby ran great, well done to all the other winners best race of the day the dog final for me with 1/2 yd between the 3 dogs, at least the sun stayed out all day was lovely!!!

Once again thank you to the BWRA for holding this open at Dawdon. thanks to Lenny and john on the traps and ray for doing the lure all day. i know how tiring it can be. for once I sat back and watched the racing and ran my dogs which seemed to pay off. Zack and Umbro winning their classes. Belle winning the Vets and Murphy just getting beat on the line. I must apologize if anyone heard me swear after one of the races but to say I was annoyed was an understatement. But it didn't take long for me to calm down. well done all the winners, the dog final and Sup final were for me the best two races with it being close in both races.

beside the point had a hard win looking great.

mocara back on the seen making winning look easy looked like she was coasting over the last 30 in her heat.

jimmys and michelles spindle shanks taking the yearlings.

cobain starting to fly as long as hes out the right,

sid young also flying as was foxy roxy.

curlin, kaiser, freddie nightmare oops melody ran great.

now milli looked really well.

all in all a good days racing.

sharons vet belle did an unbelievable time in the vet final thought i had missed it but johng was within 2 pops could of done some damage in the main open classes, 8.31 over 150 (w00t)

Special congrats Elaine & Sally with Milli, making hard work of it as always bombing to the right but looking very good. Kaiser & Freddy both looked good (Keep him right for weekend Daniel :thumbsup: ) Umbro looked good for Sharon in a good class and loads of good scratch dogs on show. Cobain also looked great - well done John, lastly Kentucky amazing finish and Gold Run, still showing the young lads he's not to be written off yet!!

well done all the winners and workers a well run open :thumbsup: i know i might be shot down with 1 complaint i have tho but i think for the dog safety im going to say any way. that the lure should have a rope attached from lure to string as with today alot or races with the wind and no rope the lure was going from side to side causing dogs switching from side to side which apart from not giving a fair race is very dangerous to the dogs.

Also i think its time folks where made to stand at the side off the track at the pick up until ALL the dogs are on the lure.

this is a general thing at all opens,folks standing in the middle shouting and screaming then jumping up over dogs.how many times have you seen it.

getting very dangerous.

maybe this should be a new topic as could cause a lot of talking points
