The open is ABCD up to 24 and up to 32lb, pups yearlings and vetrans same weight classes 150yds. Also 36,40lb and no limit. weigh in is untill 11am. sorry this is short notice, every body wellcome All others over 160yds

The advert in the Whippet News says this is a Top Gun event.

Tanyia says it isnt. [who is right] can anybody tel me.

It was booked at the last minute and is not on the BWRA TOP GUN CALENDAR.

so I took it not to be John.

As far as i'm aware the East Mids have had their two Top Gun events which were advertised on the calendar (Rhinesize & Another Maid) so this one doesn't count.

The only Top Gun events left is the Bob Burke at Highgate :thumbsup:

It was always an additional ABCDE open in the past,it was also an east midland members only when i first ran in the event at the old Melton track,but i do not propose to understand the Top Gun event qualification, so it may well qualify now as a top gun open.

I think some regulations were brought in to govern the number of Top Gun events a region could host John, in order to prevent abuse of the system and fair accessibility to all members.

I'm sure if we ask really nicely someone connected with the BWRA could post the regulations governing allocation

Each BWRA region can hold two Top Gun scoring events, these are to be advertised on the BWRA website by March.
