Hi Everyone

Now that the entries are comming to a close we would like to thank all for the fantastic entries we have received, up to now there are 72 dogs competing,

The Caledonian Thistle P.W.R.C wish to thank everyone for there support with this being our very first Scottish Open,

I have had so many LOVELY telephone calls from all the members of the pedigree whippet racing clubs.

Can't wait to meet you all, as all our members are so looking forward to this weekend.

We would also like to thank Terry Davis from Wales whom i spoke with yesterday on the phone, wishing us well what a lovely man, and to all who could not make it this year but took the time to send on there best wishes to the Cale.

Also what can we say to this Lady, [ Jane Rankin] words cannot describe her as she has done so much to support our club,

Also thanks to Garry Comber for sending on his best wishes to the Cale.

We can't thank you all enough as i have spoken to so many wonderfull people over this past few weeks

Each and everyone of the Cale. members for all the hard work they have put in to organising this open.

Well folks all there is left to say, we all hope everyone has a great weekend and best of luck to the main ones that make events like this happen and bring us all together OUR FOUR LEGGED FRIENDS THE WHIPPETS, not forgeting our proud BEAGLES who will be starting off the event competing against each other. [good luck]

Safe journey to all and will meet up at the weekend for a fantastic time.

I travel by train and bus. Am coming with dog & small tent from NIreland. So if there is anybody who can help with transport either from Stranraer Fri afternoon/eve or from Glasgow (would stay with friend in Cardonald, the Paisley side of Glasgow) Sat morn (want to be in Kincardine early afternoon for the trialling). and/or lift back to Glasgow (staying Mon in Cardonald) Sun night/Mon morn please get in touch (email preferred not pmail) ASAP. Also, if I was sure someone could lend a metal crate for the time we are at Kincardine, I would just travel with lightweight canvas crate but otherwise I will have to lug a metal crate with me. I've done it before!

For anyone who remembers me, am only bringing whippet, not the bigger lurcher.

Hi Naomi ken and i will be taking our van up on Thursday evening but we wont be staying in it until Friday.There will probably be club members there during the day making sure everything is ready for the weekend.Looking forward to seeing you there Pauline.
