I have no problem with people giving as many different clues or commands provided they are gentle giving loads of praise or treats never being in any way forceful. I do however think that people should find out as much as possible before deciding which breed they want. Their are loads of Border Collies and working Spaniels that get taken into the wrong homes, homes that are not prepared to put in the work these types need. With both, the same dog could make a wonderful dog or some ones worst nightmare, totally depending on who takes them on.
 
Yes I agree, researching breed types when thinking about introducing a dog into your life is a must, rather than choosing a dog because of it's looks.
