ive just bought a new canon zoom lens for my camera with image stabalizing built in so im selling my other zoom lens.

canon 75mm 300mm usb mrk111 auto.

i thought i would see if anyone was interested on here first ,if not i can put it on ebay.

i bought it for £115 4 months ago and will accept £85 that will include postage.

I sort of tempted, but I want the one you've just bought :p , so I think I'll hold out. Looking forward to getting your opinion on your new lens :)

going to take some tonight at the lure course meeting where having so will let you know.

i think if you have a fairly steady hand the lens is fine and ive had so good close up shots from it,but when it comes to racing im a little eager on the button i think lol

Don't be phased if it takes a while, my IS lens is fairly weighty and it took me a while to get used to it. Hope you like it. :luck:

Not too sure if I've got the lense your selling, I'll check when I get home later.

keith

Lovely piks you've posted of the lure coursing Trish, I've had a look and my other lens is the same as the one your selling.

Had a quick look on ebay and they're fetching good prices so if anyone's interested in Trish's lens I suggest they contact her as she's offering a bargain here.

ive kept the price low for anyone on here to grab a bargain ,but i will give it to sunday and if nobodys interested then i will sell on ebay.

I was tempted again today....but no...I must hold out for the IS one.

Mind you, I've been under the impression for ages that I've got handshake, as my photos never seem to be sharp when I look at them. However, someone came round from our local camera club last night and looked at my recent Mull photos. He declared them sharp, and thinks some of them are good enough for entering into the intermediate level competitions at the club. :teehee: My problem is that i've been viewing compressed versions, and the pixels have all been compressed, so they look fuzzy. When we viewed the pictures at full size, they were really quite sharp. I'm soo relieved. :sweating: Trouble is I wish I knew how to post them to K9 so they don't look all compressed. No one else seems to have this problem

Sorry going off topic..... Going by the photos you've already posted Trish, i think this must be a good lens.

well done nicola, ive always thought you took a good photo too.

i took some photos last night at lure coursing and i can honestly say ive not seen much difference in the quality with the action mode, maybe i need a faster camera now ha ha i dont know, but i suppose all us that have a passion with taking pics are always looking for the best if it ever exsists.

i wish you all the luck in the next level nicola :luck: :luck: :luck:

Interesting comment I got from a k9er the other week when I'd got a pik they liked processed to A4 format through photobox.....''they're a lot sharper than they are on the PC''

JPeg is supposed to deteriorate the more you use it apparently, I wonder if loading piks putting them through photoshop, then irfanview then uploading to them to photobucket to eventually post on here leads to a deteriortion in quality?

I think you can upload BMP files with photobucket though? I'll have a play around and get back to you on this.
