We have 2 lurchers,1 bedlington & 8 (w00t) cats. They all get on fine together although one cat has moved out and gone to live next door with my friend. Strange really cos she has 3 dogs too but the cat must just prefer it there with them :(

Raffert the beddy can be a bit of a sod sometimes & will chase the cats but usually everything is quite peaceful.

Snorkle the bonsai cat (she is really really small) giving Scrumpy a massage

Rafferty being very very good & not eating the kitten :- "

Hebe surrounded by her feline friends, she usually uses one of the cats as a furry pillow

Our Coco was 18 months old ex-show cat when she came to us, she has never been out of cattery and never seen a dog before. Genevieve was about 8-9 months old and never seen a cat before. Withing 2 weeks they sat together in from of the fire, and few months later I came into my bedroom to find them like this:

For the first few weeks I had a large crate in the living room where I kept Coco for most of the time, but then I would make swap, let her to to explore out house and crate the dogs. There was lot of hissing to start with, but after those first few weeks they were fine. Coco has been with us for couple of years now. :)
