But Bruno deserved the telling off he got from the other judges for giving a 10 to Brendan and Kelly in spite of them breaking the rules :angry:   - that is just so unfair on all the others who have adhered to the rules :(

What a shame, and Calamity Kate lives to dance another day. I know Anton has a lot of fans but I didn't know he had so many. :D I'll be interested to hear what Gabby has to say tomorrow, she must be gutted.

Alesha to win :luck: :luck: :luck: - every time she dances, she is just wonderful - a complete natural, like Jill Halfpenny was a few years ago. :thumbsup:

And Gethin and Matt - both excellent - I was moved to tears by Gethin's gorgeous rumba! :huggles:

Had to catch up online as I missed both shows and no-one remembered to tape it for me, but there were some very good dances on Saturday. :angry:

And at last, Kate was out - not before time I'm afraid! :oops:

Roll on this weekend! :p
 
I absolutely agree Beth, I love Alesha and the boys but I've got a soft spot for Letitia, after the first week when we had a combination of her dancing and that awful frock I thought she can't last, but she has worked so hard and improved so much I'm really pleased each week when her name is called out. I love Saturday evening tele, with Celebrity Come Dancing and Robin Hood :wub:

I love this programme too. I love to a watch Brendan Cole, he is such a beautiful dancer and so I don`t mind if he and Kelly win....BUT....It is Alysha Dixon and Matt Cutler who do it for me !! I think they are the most beautiful couple and dance divinely together. :huggles:

:oops: I forgot about Letitia, she is a joy to watch, after her terrible nerves at the beginning she has blossomed, and looks like she loves every second :thumbsup: - and who woudn't, if they got the chance to dance with delightful Darren! :b :wub:
 
Well, who watched the semi-finals last night - so exciting, but I just get so cross with the scoring!! :rant:

IMHO, Matt's Waltz was very nice, and I was absolutely thrilled that he conquered his nerves after last week's disasters, but to give him four tens was a load of rubbish! Whereas Alesha's quickstep was absolutely outstanding, and I loved the passion of Gethin's Paso Doble :cheers:

I think they gave him brilliant marks to give him credit for coming back and having another go, but when the others have worked so hard and been so consistently excellent, it seems wrong that one of them may go out, when really he is probably the weakest dancer.

What do you all think? :- "

PS - still loving it - it's just so exciting:- that and Spooks and Cranford are just about the only programmes I watch these days. :)
 
I was astounded that Matt got 4 tens. The judging last night was a bit strange to say the least Over the last couple of weeks both Alesha and Gethin have had some beautiful dances much more worthy of a score like that and yet they didn't achieve it. I think it was some sort of sympathy mark for poor little Matt. He's an actor for goodness sake, he should have just blagged it last week, after all the show must go on. He did not deserve to retain his place over Letitia last week.

Alesha is so good I think that's her problem, I'm not quite sure what they want her to do, how can you get much better than that. Gethin has really come on and I much prefer him to Matt.

As you can see I am totally wrapped up in the programme, and am now a self-styled expert (w00t) , but was put in my place by my youngest last evening when I was having a rant about the judging and he said "don't forget mum what you always say, it's not difficult to judge from outside the ring, you've got to go over a dog to know how good it is!!!!" .........KEEP DANCING.

I think Alesha's quickstep was fantastic ... if she hadn't been the first on I think the judges would have given her four tens.

Gethin's out!! :( :( :(

Alesha to win :luck: - don't suppose poor old Matt will be able to get through FIVE dances next week without making a mess of it :huggles: - but we'll have to wait and see. Really sad, I think Gethin would really have pulled the stops out, and would have had a chance to do some ballroom which he really excels at. :(

Shame about Gethin....I really loved his Argentine Tango :wub: He's done so well over the last couple of weeks (his Latin was hot!!), only to be pipped to the post by Mat :(
 
Yes, I think Alesha should win, but we will just have to see who dances best tomorrow to be sure! :luck: :thumbsup:

WOW!!

What a great show- those last two freestyle dances were breathtaking- I was terrified someone was going to get dropped on their head!! :eek:

Lines are just about to close and I bet the result is really close- but I hope Alesha wins- she is amazing :thumbsup:

It was the right result in the end - well done Alesha and Matthew - what a fantastic couple they made! :cheers: But well done to Matt and Flavia who were also really good, and Matt remembered virtually all his steps, which was excellent. :thumbsup:

Now we have the SCD special on Xmas Day, and Gethin will be on that one too! :wub: :huggles:

I don't disagree with you about Alesha but Matt was sooo good tonight and was the most improved dancer. :thumbsup:

But didnt Matt dance his socks of last night............it was such a

shame to have to pick between them :(
