He was a bit before my time in showing and breeding and i only have the one picture of him. What was he like? Temperament, movement etc. I have the option of bringing a puppy into my family and this pup has this dog on both sides of his lines. The pup i am hoping for will be to introduce to the show ring (and add to my whippet collection!). He is not lines i am familiar with nor are any of my whippet show mates.

Thanks in advance :)

Don't know him personally but have meet some of his offspring in NZ and they all have great temperments & are good movers..

He seems to have been a popular sire in Aust, so he must throw the goods..

Hope this is of some help

CH Khabaray Hugo Boss (IMP UK) or Jack, was imported to Australia by my friend the late Angela Shepherd (Sheberghan Whippets), he was a lovely natured dog always affectionate and friendly. One of the greatest assets he passed on to his progeny was beautiful free flowing movement. He produced many Australian Champions and an American Champion, who is the leading Sire of Whippets in the USA for 2008.

Jack has won the prestigious Memorial Most Successful Sire Award at the Victorian Whippet Association Inc., championship show three times. His progeny from kennels such as Skyeway, Byerley, Bonnymead, and Martinique have won many Specialty Best In Shows, Specialty Best In Show Classes, All Breeds Best In Shows and All Breeds Best In Show Classes,

Regards Griff

I have a Khabaray Hugo Boss line bred son from his second last litter. Hugo Boss is on both sides of this mating too. How old is the pup Stonegrace?

Howard (Windyle Artisan) has what I can only describe as bombproof temperament - friendly, outgoing, resilient. It's early days yet in his show career. but I couldn't be happier with him and he does have very nice movement IMO.

Howard does his first ever Whippet Speciality on Good Friday in Sydney where he will be reunited with his breeder and his full sister from that mating.

I'm really looking forward to it. :)

Thankyou all for your information, now i am really excited about my potential new show pup!

Jack sounded lovely and its a shame he died at a reasonably young-ish age - 10? Someone sent me his advert from the champ show catalogue 2008 and he has produced some amazing dogs.

Thanks again. I will post pics of my new baby if and when he arrives .... :D

The four Hugo Boss grandchildren that I have really stayed in close contact with from my Savile Row litter are all nice dogs who showed well, but they are all four as different as different can be in terms of personality--everything from ultra sweet, soft, and mellow all the way to my own Sav son, who is a very loving dog, but whatever he does he does in warp drive, with intensity and 1000% commitment. His sister is like a Border Collie wearing a Whippet suit. She LIVES to work and train and do obedience/agility.

Of course, the other 3/4 of the pedigree may account for some of that. :b
