i am sick to death of chain texts..just had the 2nd one today saying to forward this on to 10 people and something wonderful will happen tonight...my arse :angry: if any of my lovely friends send me one and i dont reply its not because i dont like you its cos i am up to here with these :rant: texts

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sarah!!! some of them this year are rather sweet though several i have saved and make me think of the person who sent them ;)
 
I know exactly how you feel! I said the same thing at the weekend.....its the new year, spend a fortune replying to tons of texts to make your friends feel loved! NOOOOOOOOOOO!
 
Not had any of those Sarah :unsure: ...I just get terrible, disgusting jokes (w00t) Can't think who off... :-

and then they all reply back to you and you spend the next 10 minutes opening the same text!!!! pointless isnt it?
 
Oh I got 100s of them on the run up to new year and I just delete but yes it does tick you off
 
I had loads at xmas and New year,i just delete them.They are no better than chain letters.I am glad someone else feels the same,plus they are usually telling you what a lovely person you are,just to encourage you to send them on.

Same with the emails - nice to read but very, very rarely do I forward them on :thumbsup:
 
had another one earlier..grrrr...promising me that something magical will happen tonight if i send on 6 texts....tell yer what will happen tonight,i dish up scran,bath the little 'uns,watch the simpsons,put kids to bed,watch big brother then go to bed.....oh dear,now i havent sent them Prince Charming wont burst through my front door...oh bugger.....

its probaly the phone companys that make them up, then us twats send millions of them on and make the phone company loads of dosh (w00t)
 
the xmas ones were the worst...i must have had 6 a day sent to me....drove me mad......i have told everyone now not to forward them to me...all we are doing is wasting texts
 
I'm so glad others feel the same as I do. I don't send any chain emails or texts on. One I had the other day was 4 messages long. I don't get free texts (well occasionally, and you all know when that is!!), so to send that on to ten people would cost me £4.80 - I'm not that daft (w00t)
