Well done to ALL the winners this weekend. As Karen has already said there were some brilliant races to watch. On a personal note here I have to congratulate litter brother and sister Xbex and Lexi for doing the double with each taking their respective up to 19lb titles. Xbex gaining his first title and Lexi defending hers as well as she did. I think Now Milli ran so well to get runner up in her class. I think all the workers this weekend deserve a medal for everything they have done, especially because the weather has been so awful. Well done to all of you.

KATH  FROM ALL OF THE COMMITEE

Well what awful weather for the championships but we have no control of this and those who won their titles and those who were happy with their dogs performances must have thought the sun was shining on them.

The finest performance was given by all the workers who worked in these conditions for the benefit of all of the racers, no matter who they support as a rule they all proved that it was whippet racing that came first and that all can work together for the benefit of the majority, didn't see any official spitting the dummy out or refusing to talk to anyone who may have had a different opinion to them.

Congratulations to all the winners in which whippet racing as a whole certainly was, long may it continue. :luck:
