Hi All...I'm a new member, and am delighted to have found this site. We have a 4.5 month old whippet called Murphy (hopefully pic is attached). Its been a challenge, as he is our first puppy (we are both in our twenties and this is our first pet together - bless!). But we are absolutely delighted and besotted by him and his playful but gentle nature. We're smitten.

I've already got a question for any wise pup owners out there... :- "

Has anyone got any advice for changing puppy food. We have decided to change Murphy over to Pro Plan Puppy. We have been adding a little to his regular complete biscuit for a slow and gentle transition, but it has still given him a bad belly. Its been 3 or 4 days now since we've added a little every mealtime. I am unsure whether to try him now on a full meal of Pro Plan, in case it is the mixture of both which is upsetting him. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Happy New year.

Sophie. :*

Wow hes a handsome pup Sophie  gorgeous. We have a FAQ thread on this forum about feeding.

My dogs are on the BARF diet - which involves feeding raw tripe, chicken, beef etc with a natural biscuit mixer.

Lots of other people on K9 feed this diet too but its personal preference at the end of the day and what your dog seems best on.

Good Luck :luck:
