i find the vast majority of folk dont care.or they SAY  they care but if it costs them money or it makes life a bit hard or uncomfortable for them they dont want to know.we live in a country that is renowned for being animal lovers but when i see animals treated as they are i wonder! :(
Sadly..too true Kris! :(

I have taped this programme and was going to watch it, but I dont want to now, some things are just to much to bare.

Kris I agree with every word you said.

I am sick to death of these "country folk" harping on about their way of life being destroyed. When the mines closed in the Welsh valleys, communities were devastated and cheap short term work brought in that only lasts 5 minutes. Does anyone care about that? No we have to get on with it and deal with change we are told. So why is country life any different?

the answer is it isnt. its just that a lot of landowners are wealthy and ergo have more power both political and monetary.as for the miners i didnt see any farmers or landowners coming out in sympathy when they shut all the pits down.farmers will have to face up to reality like all the other people have had to whose jobs and way of life have gone.

i must admit theres nothing that pisses me off like a whinging fat greedy bastrd farmer  i loathe you sooo much in your farmers clothes and blue dungarees .........
