Jeez if all the dogs had a start like Cherry, were loved to bits like Cherry, then were placed in a home like Cherry has been, there would be a LOT of VERY lucky dogs  :p

My sentiments exactly, I know how Debs has agonised over Cherry but she has seen her into a lovely home and to be honest I wouldn't mind living there with Cherry by the look of it. , are they looking for a grumpy old woman?

Jenny

She looks very happy & settled

It must have been very hard for you, but at least you know she has a great home :huggles:

If they were they would have taken Debbie as well (w00t)  :huggles:

I've only just seen this Debs :( I am so sorry that you have had to go through the agonising turmoil of rehoming one of your Whips but at the end of the day as previously said,it is the Dog's state of mind and happiness that must come first and not ours.

If anything need convince you of that, just look at the pics of Cherry in her new home. You definitely did the right thing for her! I love the pic of her on her window seat, the look on her face says it all really......."Yes,it is MY seat!!"

Lots of :huggles: to you.

its an awful decision to have to make but youve done it with the dogs welfare uppermost in mind and i respect you for that as i know its all to easy to just let things drift.cherry is gorgeous  and she looks to have landed on her feet in those pics!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments :huggles: except you Jax (w00t) ;) .....how dare you call me grumpy,i'm a cheerful soul, well most of the time :clown:

I know i've done the right thing as little Chrissy was starting to become very quiet with being the underling,& since Cherry has gone, she's really blossoming. :)

She was never a good eater, but is now scoffing everything in sight,& is first in the queue for her dinner. She can now play with Bailey without being pushed out,& they are the very best of pals :huggles:

Cherry is very happy with her new life, she's spoilt rotten, having fantasic walks every day,& sleeping under the duvet instead of in her snuggle bed :D

So all in all,a very happy ending

Here's the latest photo of her,i hope her new Dad doesn't find out i've put this on for all to see

yep, shes got the life of riley there! :D

Cherry has really landed on her feet ,so glad it all worked out for you and her .

I have also had to make that hard decision over the last few weeks, well months really ,as bee is losing her battle over top dog . All hormone related ,but she will not give up easily.

So we have found her an absolutly fab home in the country, with horses and children . I,m sure she will be very much loved as we all do here :( ,but at the end of the day it is for her benefit and welfare .

Sorry you've had to rehome Cherry, Debs, but seeing her looking so contented in those photos must help you come to terms with it a little :huggles:

Thinking of you

Thanks Nikki :huggles: It's so true though,if you let them go to the right home, they settle in a few days, whereas 2 weeks down the line,i'm still missing her like mad, even though i know she's very happy & settled & spoilt rotten!

im so pleased cherry has found a good home.she looks so happy.i will carry on my search for a whippy companion.
