Just in case :- " :- " I should need it ahem :wub: next tuesday.. Ive been thinking about names for a black girly whippet pup....

My Cavalier King Charles is called Rosie,

My ex's Cavalier is called Daisy

We did have a rescue JRT who died of a brain bleed called Poppy

I would love to continue the flower/nature/earthy theme if I can - but please can I have your suggestions?

So far Ive come up with:

Flora

Fleur

Willow

Lily

and just because I like it as well - Evie - as in Eve - new beginning/Life

Ah cant have Fern - best friends daughter is called that.. might be problems if she thinks Ive called my dog after her daughter :blink: Ive only ever known a boy called Rowan.

Petal is a baby in eastenders.

Thing is Im not going to just assume that I can have her - after all her breeder mum has got to like me first :huggles: after all I know how Id be if I had puppies to send out to the big wide world, but yes Im counting the hours and minutes... and I agree totally shes :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub:

We have nature/earthy names too for our Whips...we have Moss,Bracken,Badger,Teazel,Rush,Timber,Pebble and soon Berri,we also have a Basenji called Drift and in the last litter we had Fallow,Clay and Ash (all still called those names) previous litter were,Willow,Lilac,Thistle and Roe. I also love the name Rain and Fox but the latter is more suited to a dog..maybe?

For flower names how about

Aster , Cherry, Hazel, Holly, Iris, Jasmine, Kiri,Lilac, Lotus, Laurel, Orchid,Pansy,

Tulip, Violet.

Must say I do like the name Evie :wub: but I would seeing as my first whippet is called Evie :- " :lol:

Not really a "flowery" name, but how about Ember? That's what I was going to call puzzle if he had been a girl. Works nice for a black whippy I think.
