I always go intending to pick a nice quiet one then I can't resist the naughty one .

We came into whippet racing in 2001 and were told about the litter from Dessies Image & Amega Blue by George (Little Bill). I went into the pen with all the puppies and there were two brindle dogs and I had not seen a brindle before. One was taken and the other brindle dog was the first to come over to me for a cuddle which is why I chose North 2 South.

Southern Spark was the only dog left and Adam (TNT & No Deal) was undecided whether to have him. I fell in love with him and he was bought for me as an Easter present as Paul forgot to get me an Easter egg!

Mimo bought her off Steve and Julie. Still got her

Jet and Zippo bred them myself still got jet

Rose bred myself still got her

Boots and Maize bred myself still got them

Belle over heard a phone call someone didn't want her so I asked for her. still got her

Cindy. Dad asked Bert 4 years ago if he ever lined a greyhound with 2 become 1 then let us know. She was picked because of the small white line on her nose ( her grandad had the same mark). still got her

Umbro. I was looking to buying a dog, was sick of bitches and heard of this litter. Phoned Shelly and she arranged for me to have one. He was born on the anniversary of my aunty's death. It's funny but I asked her in my head to pick my pup. when I got there he came and sat with me all the time then I was told he was mine anyway because all the others had been picked. I have 11 dogs but Umbro holds a very special part in my heart if I was told I had to pick only 1 to keep then for some reason he would be the one. still got him.

Harvey, wasn't looking for a pup dad went with Gerry to see them and got one. Went to a pet home.

Murphy was a spur of the moment buy I saw him at Highgate and was told he was for sale, always wanted this bread so bought him. still got him

Daisy and Zac bred myself kept Daisy because we knew she wouldn't make racing weight only now 11 /12lb at 7 months. Zac I said before he was born I was keeping the smallest dog. Think Andy's pup was the pick but he was bigger and wasn't going to change my mind. just starting his training.

I pick the quiet 1 in the litter and me bro picks the nasty 1.and i never have white its a defo no no to me.and i love black pups & blues
