Welcome to Gloucester Pedigree Whippet Racing Club

We are a small friendly club that run every Sunday (outside of the main open season) from February to November at Dowty Sports & Social Club, Down Hatherly Lane, Staverton near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

We arrive between 10.30 and 11 am and racing usually commences at 11.30, both racing and trialling dogs are welcomed.

Please note that the closing date for race entries is the Thursday prior to the Sunday, (trialling dogs may enter on the day).

Club racing may take place during the open season if there are gaps in the calendar and enough people to set up the track etc (we are small in number, so everyone usually joins in!)
