23rd July 2003

If the weather hadn't have been like it was i think we'd have had a few more spectators on the back of what had gone on at weekend (the lurcher show & open), never the less we had 4 heats & 2 scratch heats with a couple more dogs & more north west bwra members for the club, it's great that we are thriving & there seems to be a lot of interest from newcomers & people re-entering the sport. A lot of people turned up at weekend & were very keen on news of forthcoming litters, so hopefully next year we really will be thriving - then we'll have to get our finger out!!!

Peg Leg 12 1/2 Winner

Breakaway 13 1/2 3rd

There was a dog's length between all three of these, Peg Leg just about managed to hang on on the line.

We had 10 ped's trialling:

Angela Bayley had 4, Rebecca Hough had Texas Tea & Cosmic Carina, Jim had Holly & Terry had Ben, Dove & Daisy.

And we also had Mick Clarkes pup Cindy & George's Arnold all going well!!

Nice to see Keith Earnshaw back at the club still dogless though as his Rolling Thunder is still injured although keith is looking forward to getting his new non ped pup along with Jim who's also ordered a non ped pup.
