anyone got the carphone warehouse land addy so we can all join in?or better still the local rspca or her parents address?

just google carphone warehouse, thats what i did and i clicked on their press office and emailed them.maybe if enough folk give 'em hell theyll fire this woman. i told them her name and address and that its the carphone warehouse in st helens merseyside.her parents address is in the first post about this so feel free to send her a letter telling her what you think of her.the rspca officer dealing with this was inspector carla hays at the halewood animal shelter near liverpool (i know carla well and shes not an idiot and shes not a fool either so im going to ring her today and see if i can find out more about this) :(

How awful, that story makes you feel sick to the stomach :( Hope she gets what she deserves and more

Yea that bitch shouldn`t be let near animals again, will e-mail carphone over my disgust at someone like that employed by them.Fecking sick.

ok this is what i have sent them

dear sir/madam

i feel the need to write to you in connection with one of your employies at your St Helens branch. 18 year old Stephanie Donegan of vincent street St Helens, in connection with a recent artical in the St Helens Reporter in which she pled guilty to causing unneccessary suffering to her little dog Cody resulting in Cody starving to death over a period of 2 months. I think that it is truely disgraceful that you would still choose to employ such a cruel and callouse person, can you not see that this will drag the image of you company down and lose you vast amounts of custom! i have in the past been a talktalk phone and broadband user and my mum still is but im sure she ( and many others) will be ending their sevices with you if this woman continues to be employed by you.

come on Carphone Warehouse do the right thing!!

regards emma harrison

kris did the page change for you when u pressed submit cos it didnt for me so i might have done it wrong  u know what im like

i agree bout the fact the RSPCA didn't see the animal for themselves THAT is nearly as bad as what the girl did. The sooner the RSPCA get more powers the better! i have heard quite afew stories recently about the RSPCA failing animals in this way.

right ive just got off the phone after talking to the lady who was in court from the st helens reporter and therefore knows all about this case.shes told me that inspector carla hays did follow all procedures and do everything within the law to help this dog.until the law is changed and the rspca are allowed to intervene BEFORE a crime against an animal is committed then they have to abide by the law and cant intervene.carla couldnt get access or a reply when she visited this womans flat.she was investigating a report from neighbours.cody was found by stephanie donegans landlord a few days later, who then alerted the rspca inspector about finding the dogs body.the rspca then charged her with cruelty.apparently this woman left home for the first time, moved into her flat, then went to stay with friends and basically just ignored/forgot all about cody. much as we might hate it the rspca cant go charging into someones flat after receiving a report about cruelty.the introduction of the new animal rights act should change this.unfortunately for poor cody it will be too late to help her. :(

dana i too sent the carphone warehouse an email last night so im awaiting a reply from their press office about this, expressing my disgust about this young womans actions.and no the page didnt change for me,so i think it must be ok hun. :huggles:

It would give me great PLEASURE to do the same to her

RIP little one.

WELL SAID STORMY DOG

I think the RSPCA should be allowed to go barging into someone's flat - when they have reasonable suspicion that an animal has been abandoned and left alone there for a long period of time.

She probably died of starvation and dehydration. You'd think the neighbours would have heard her howling, realised they'd not seen anyone go in or out of the flat for weeks, and would have done something :( I can't bear to think what Cody went through :'(

I wonder if Carphone Warehouse will be able to do anything? If she hasn't actually committed a sackable offence re her job, then she may end up claiming for unfair dismissal

i agree with you helen but the trouble is the law as it stands at the moment wont let them do anything.i know carla paid this woman visits on numerous occasions and eventually when she did get back to her she told her the dog was fine.as carla is only an rspca inspector she has no powers of entry to someones property.only the police could have entered and they would have had to get a warrant showing justifiable cause to enters someones flat.as for the carphone warehouse well i dont know if they would take any action but as this person is employed by them and most big companies these days are aware of their image one can only hope they will find an excuse to dismiss her.maybe 'bringing the company into disrepute' could be an all encompasssing weapon to use to fire her,i truly hope so.i know its not much but at least its sending a message to her and to people like her that the repercussions of animal cruelty might not just stop at the courthouse doors,it can follow you further

if its ok with u kris i want to post this to afew other sites i go on and see if we can get more folk to write to CW and get this bitch sacked

be my guest hun.the more the better

Can only echo the comments made above.
However, another thing concerns me ... if the RSPCA inspector managed to see the woman on 12th May, why did they not also manage to see the little dog and see her condition for themself?

Or would that have been too obvious a thing to do?  I feel so angry, and sick for the little dog.

RIP Cody.

I'm not defending this sadistic cow in any way here but if the Rspca inspector wasn't allowed into the house then without a police presence there was not a lot they could do.

Likewise, I also hope she gets everything she deserves

I can't bear to think of her with empty bowls & food just out of reach.

Well said Stormydog! I hope she gets what she deserves

Run free little Cody

If I had my way she'd be dropped naked in the arctic tundra with a pack of hungry timberwolves in pursuit......
