Huge congratulations to DD and her owners. Have admired DD greatly since seeing a pic of her on the aphrael results site a yr or 2 ago. What a great achievement.

Congratulations all at Cobyco! It was so fantastic, I was so so, lucky as I got given BIS tickets so I was able to see it all, I was so excited after the group let alone the BIS.

Bless her, she didn't put a foot wrong and it must have been such a long day for her - very well deserved!

I know people think you make a mint win you win B I S at Crufts but all you get is £100.00 in prize money !! :eek:

And as regards food money , ok they might supply you with food for your dog s but I have it on good authority that no money is given for all the apperances on tv .

When Morag won with Dutch ,as she lives in Scotland they did put her up for the night ,but she didn`t get any dosh to buy an outfit for the tv adverising , she had to buy it herself !!

Ok having a male helped cos the Stud fee went up as you would expect.

OH to be given the chance !!! :blink:

Its a new camera I forget that it dosnt tell me when its running low like the old one did :b

Ive got some of Lynn and Dee Dee from when I gave her the ticket , I will have to look them out won`t I ?
 
Richard had trouble too taking pictures - he didnt flash properly :clown: so is looking for a new camera.

Did anyone manage to get some succesful photos?

Congratulations to Eva,Lynn and DD I am so glad they won,I think they deserved it.They did the breed proud congratulations.
 
As a fellow whippet owner can I say Bloody Well Done!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup: Having only watched the show on the telly over three or so nights and seeing the final line-up and the quality dogs in it I was over the moon for you and as the Daily Mirror said today.Its about time a Real dog won.All the best :cheers:

I think so. We are upgrading computer so I'm leaving them on the camera until finished.

The lighting was sooo bad that any we took with the flash went dark and the ones without flash were lighter, but shaky. Not down to the camera, but the lighting in the venue. BUT I think I have some good ones. It will be another week or so till I can post them - sorry guys - it will be old news by then.

Iv'e just had a wonderful comment made to me from one of my customers who's an elderly gundog man................." it was a pleasure to see a PROPER dog win Crufts instead of something that's just come out the "beauty Parlour".!!!!!!!!!!

When i commented there was a Lab in the line up he sort of Umphed & muttered "you don't see em like that out retrieving!!"

I dont recall Marion Spavin wearing a flat cap like that - maybe I just didnt notice.
