That is really good news.

It seems such a long time ago that the idea for the formation of a whippet club to serve the South West was discussed on the way back from Richmond by Dennis Battershall, Reena Clark and myself. By the time we got home, I had somehow been "volunteered" to try and find out from the KC how to go about getting a club up and running. A couple of years and a lot of correspondence and hard work later, the Club was officially formed with Dennis as Chairman, Reena as Treasurer and I was the Secretary - Joanna Russell was our President and the late Mollie Garrish was our Patron. The first ever show was held on 25 March 1994 and in fact, the first entry I received for that show was from Sarah Pirie.

I am so pleased!!! :D  :D The South west really needed an extra set of tickets for whippets so the committee are all thrilled, looks like its going to get busier for us now!

Thanks to all the members that support us :D

Ooh that's really exciting!! I always go. This Sept will be the first show I've missed since I started showing due to Teya hopefully being in whelp. I hummed and hawed about entering Savvy, then decided to take a break.

It certainly always draws Ch show numbers so that's REALLY exciting! Can't wait

Well done!
