Ted and Terri Smith are pleased to say that Chelsea (Model Citizen) has been successfully mated to Wonder Why. Puppies are due in the next 3 weeks.

Chelsea's first litter (x WCRCh Cap'n Poldark) produced Homemaid Citizen (half coat) and WCRCh Guye's Guinevere. Her second litter (x WCRCh Guye's Gwithian) has produced Hawaii Five O, Delter Queen of Hearts and Guye's Gwynder.

If anyone is interested in trying to persuade Terri to let a puppy go 'up country', or would like to find out more, then please phone 01736 850460 or contact myself on 07941 270195

Oooooo! They could be nice puppies. Both Model Citizen and Wonder Why have produced good 'uns in previous litters. Be interesting too see what they're like.

I think you meant they are x Model Citizen though Kim - and by Wonder Why, Cap'n Poldark and Guye's Gwithian. ;) don't need no gender benders when it comes to breeding whippets :D

I'm delighted to announce that Chelsea has produced a lovely litter of seven; five boys and two girls. Ted & Terri say that they are all of even size, solid fawns - some with black ears and masks, which could turn blue in time, and some with white trim.

Mother and babies are doing well -- I could hear down the phone that unmistakable sound...like a guinea pig...of healthy, happy puppies.

:D

These puppies are classic-bred from proven race lines, so please contact Ted & Terri on 01736 850460 if you would like some more information. I have copies of their pedigree if required and am available on 07941 270195.

Watch this space and I'll see if I can get my hands on some puppy pics...

Thats great, glad to hear there are no problems and they are squeaking well :D . Bet Ted & Terri are pleased.

Yes please - we need pictures.

Both clive and i are delighted that wonder why has another 7 healty pups and they couldnt of arrived on a better day, as wonder why went for the snip that very same day. What a great way to mark his retirement. His new nickname is jaffa as he is now seedless. So if any body would like to name their pup Son or daughter of jaffa youd better get in quick. hurry up get some pics kim cant wait to see them.

Oh no! Gino's had the snip. At least he managed to get it delayed a while :D Ted & Terri will have to call theirs Wonderful Citizen or maybe Citizen Y. Are you and Clive having one ?

clive would of loved one especially being magical mysterys great grand children, but we have our pup Gucci and shes only three months old. i dont fancy two pups running circles around me. Any way i think the bitches are spoken for.

Congratulations to all of the connections!

Cursty - have you got an uptodate picture of Gucci that you could post on here? It has been awhile since we last saw her and would love to see how she is getting on.

Best wishes

They're in...the photos have arrived, all the way from Cornwall. Well, by e-mail really but that's the beauty of technology. These were taken when the puppies were about 4 days old....I wonder where the two dark numbers have come from? Any ideas Judy ?

Ahhh! Look at the expression on Chelsea's face. Polite concern. Huh hum! Someone. Um, excuse me, but I seem to be being sucked to death by puppies. Anyone? Please?

No surprises with the colours Kim. All fawns from 2 fawn parents. I seem to remember Gino as having black eye rims / nose/ bit of a mask etc. so he has at least one non-dilute gene.

Haven't seen Wonder Why for a while but I remember him as being a good looking dog though. Can you post a picture Kirsty? I'd love to see one.

I agree with you Judy, the darker pups definately get their colour from Gino (Wonder Why). You can see in the pictures attached how like him they are, bearing in mind that he is 9 now so he has gone quite grey and lost the darkness in his muzzle. Our bitch , All Ifs & Butts, was very similar to the paler ones and she turned out a blue fawn.

This is all 3 together.

Hi Cursty, lovely pictures, especially the one with the three of them in the chair.

Tyler wouldn't stay still for a picture - I just took about 15 photo's and could only put two on here as all the rest are blurred! Here's about the best of them.

They're a good looking bunch arn't they. Having seen Tyler at home I can quite believe you got a lot of blurred pictures Darc :D You need a high speed camera.
