Thanks for all the advice, it seems it's walking on the roads that's aggravated it.

Seems a really common problem yet i've never had one with a corn

Will let you know how we get on.

Tillie suffers with corns Kevin (vet) gave me some stitch cutter blades to keep them pared down and I use PADSONOL to keep the pads supple he also reccomended to ease up on road work especially during the frosty weather as the grit they put on the roads contains very sharp stone chips

Not at all sure but a old time whippet racer told me never to walk on the old type cinder track as it these thats responsible for most foot problems such as corns and the like --only ever had one with corns and at the time i had been using an old railway track for walks --

Just a thought! Steve

vicky if you have a dremmil you can use that to grined it back use the fine pint sand attachment for it and you can get it concaved and comfey to walk on quickly and easly

jack has a corn on one of his front toes i keep it pared down and filed every 2 weeks i use blades that chiropodists use.and an ordinary nail file. :D seems to work for a few weeks then i repeat.hes got so used to me doing it he just layes down whenever he sees the foot kit bless him.
