Cramping??? Please Help

I would like to say thankyou to everyone for all the kind and helpfull advice. :cheers: I have given Grace tin tomatoes in her dinner tonight,she loves them (w00t) I have also ordered vit c and vit E powders from a greyhound shop.I will let you all know how we get on.

The only thing I've heard that hasn't been mentioned yet is lower protein levels in the feed. I've heard feeding a senior formula kibble to chronic crampers seems to help.
 
Mac used to have terrible cramps, but he usually got them at night time. I have been giving him electrolytes and magnesium supplements. I have stopped with the electrolytes, because it made him wake up a hundred times every night to go out... But if I see him start to cramp up I just give him a magnesium tablet, and it goes away. I also feed him Pro Plan with salmon, because it is rich in omega 3, which is supposed to be good for muscles.

He used to get cramps for everything: chewing to hard on a pigs ear, running, being cold, digging etc.. And he really have some big muscles to cramp up in... View attachment 40316
