CRASH, BANG, WALLOP!!!

As part of Scrumpys therapy I need a copy of this CD. I can't find one anywhere. Pets at Home do sell them but not until a couple of weeks before Bonfire night, which I don't think is long enough to get the dog accustomed to the fake noises before hoping they can cope with the real ones :wacko: .I could get a "Sounds scary" but this doesnt have traffic on.

Does anyone have a copy of this that they could sell me or just do a copy of it for me. I'll pay all costs plus postage.

I'm sure there must be one out there somewhere....I really do need to get going on the sound aversion thing with her as the rest of her therapy is coming along very well :thumbsup:

Can't help you with the cd;

But if you google sound effects websites some of them allow you to download for free and would have traffic noise sound effects on them. Might be useful till you get a hold of the cd.

It's a bit spooky you should bring this up. I've (somewhere) got a CD of firework noises that I used to try to desensitise Molly. I think it did help and I want to try it with Sophie who is scared of any loud noises, so I imagine fireworks are going to be a nightmare.

I don't know if it is the same CD and at the moment I'm darned if I can find it but I'll have a good search today and you're welcome to a copy if it turns up.

(Molly is now too deaf to worry about fireworks - old age does have some compensations )

Claire, I'd found this but when I phoned PetPlanet they told me to get a different one called Sounds for Behaviour. I'm very reluctant to buy stuff over the internet, I know it's usually ok but a friend of mine was ripped off by someone who got hold of her details & spent a lot of her money.

I thought I'd be able to get it mail order from them but can't seem to.

I'll try the sound effect website but as I'm such a technophobe It'll be a miracle if I manage to download anything.
