Mid-Limit Dog and Good Citizen for us

Good luck everyone! :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

good luck to everyone here and their dogs. :luck: :luck: :luck: hope you all take something home. even if its only a snazzy new collar or a smart new dog coat! :- " :D

I've entered Flyn in mid limit, but i'm not taking him now as i don't want to risk him bringing any nasty bugs back with having the puppies!

BUT,it'll free me up to have a good day's shopping which i haven't had chance to do the last couple of years

:luck: Best of luck with Harry and Hottie. I wish I could be there to cheer you on.Let me know how you do :luck:

Has Di entered this year?

Sandra

Sparky is entered in Sp Puppy Dog but won't be attending. However, he wants it known that NO puppy is allowed to try and claim his hard earned crown of naughtiest ever whippet puppy and ALL puppies have to be on their very best behaviour at all times. This ban applies for one day only and after that it's naughtiness as usual.

Good luck to all K9'ers showing, I know you will do us proud.

Lana is in junior bitch, good luck to all the k9ers
Well Lana better win then, because this Lana's gonna be almost as far away from the action as one could possibly be .... *sigh* :(

It's getting closer ... how exciting for you all! :)

Same here Jo- I'm going up Wednesday morning to set up the stand (Arden Grange) and won't be back till late Sunday night so I won't be able to see the results or take a look at k9 till then!!

Are Dorwest in the same place as usual- i.e. opposite Arden Grange? If so you'll have to come over and have a cuppa (or a proper drink!)- I'm sure we will both be in need of a sit down and rest!!

Mabel's auntie Jan is kindly bringing her for me, and she is entered in Graduate bitch.

I'm really looking forward to Crufts- see you all there I hope!

Yep DON'T PANIC just cus there are three times as many people watching as at a normal Ch show, many from abroad who've come to look at the creme-de-le-creme of the UK's whippets (some will have travelled thousands of miles just to be there). The hall is full of noise, you are on THE green carpet, the ring is BIG and you have to follow a long line of other whippets round the ring, you stand your dog on the table and EVERYONE looks, then you walk in a triangle ALL ON YOU OWN in the BIG ring. Then you go back to your place in the line (IF you can remember where it is :D )

YEP, as Karen says DON'T PANIC

If you think about all that when you are in the ring - you are NOT concentrating on your job!

YOUR job, which should be your sole focus in the ring, is to make your dog look better than all the others there. If you think about the crowd etc you aren't concentrating. You will have time to panic when the judging is over and you have won the CC - I know I did

Good luck to all you k9's entered in Crufts. I'm going up next Saturday, but as i realise i won't be able to watch the whippets.

Can anyone tell me the entrance rates to get into Crufts so that I have an idea what to expect on the day.

OAP, adult and child rate please if you know it.

Many thanks and good luck again,

KIM
