current all-sorts dogs (Brighton, Sussex region) http://www.allsortsdogrescue.org.uk/
now advertise 10 mo old male whippet Jake ("He is good with other dogs, fine with children and well behaved off the lead") and
7 month old fawn whippet Flint ("He is very gentle and sweet, he loves people and is very good with other dogs. He hasnt been cat tested, but at only 7 months old he can be easily trained to live with cats if you are willing to put the effort in. Your cat(s) need to be used to dogs")
dark brindle and white 1 year old lurcher Lev: "He is a very quiet and laid back dog who has had a bad start in life, but has grown in confidence."
Flake med sized 1.5 year old smooth white lurcher
Snowy - 9 mo old wirecoat lurcher "He is a real sweetie, good with children and other dogs. Already well housetrained";
4.5 yr black and white greyhound Droopy
fawn greyhound Rip: "He walks beautifully on a lead. He loves to play in the park and will introduce himself in passing to every dog he sees. If he meets a dog he wants to play with, he can be a bit insistant that they play with him, but this is due to the novelty of being allowed to run free in a park. Rip does not like being on his own and therefore must be homed where there is another dog to keep him company. Ideally another greyhound or a lurcher."

I don't see Daisy listed, but if you live in the area and are looking for a male whippet see Jake and Flint

you really have to check with the rescues
many of us simply cross-post notices we see at other sites, with little personal knowledge of the dogs or the rescue centres
all-sorts seems to have lurchers in on a regular basis; see Maggie, Lennie and Dutchess presently featured at their website
