Daisy is doing really well. Her health is fantastically improved and her weight gain is slow and steady. Most of her gained weight is muscle and it is going to take a long time for her to 'fill out'. She has incredible energy and races around with Toddy and Bella keeping up with them no trouble at all. She is a perfect little angel. She comes lurecoursing with us and loves to 'have a go'.

Her EDI is stable on the Burns Pork and Potato with goats milk. She will not touch water :teehee:

Looks like she is having a great time, she is a real cutie such a lovely face.

She is very much the same shape as my Mae at the moment, how old is she? Do you give her anything besides her Burns Pork and Potato to fatten her up?

Mae is still young so I am not worried about her weight though I would like her to fill out a little, but if I feed her much more of her normal vet prescribed food she gets an upset tummy.

She is such a beautiful little girl.... and looks right at home now...

I think she looks great Eve and, even if she does need to fill out a bit more, her muscle tone is great. The Burns is doing its job and I feed nothing else to two of mine. Am so glad she's settled so well. :))

Thats one happy little girl

Aww what a pretty little face.  Well done for giving such a gorgious little girl the tlc she so obviously deserves!! :)) :) ) o:)

Little Daisy was at the vets today. Bloods and stool samples are being tested to try and get a definative dagnosis prior to her being speyed in 10 days time. If there is nothing conclusive, they will do a biopsy of her bowel while she is under General anesthetic for the speying. The vet is however happy with her progress and general improvement in health and fitness to proceed with speying her.

It will be a great help to have some positive (or negative) reslults with regard to her digestive disorder.

I feel so bad having her speyed after only 7 weeks settling in, but a season could set her back quite a way and if she is having a General Anesthetic, then tests can be done that I would not otherwise consider like the biopsy. Poor wee mite, I just want her to be well..............

I am so worried about her undergoing such a major OP, she is such a fragile we thing :(
