An acquaintance on another forum has had her dog hospitalised after eating part of one of these. Apparently there are other dogs that have managed to eat parts of them too.

I've wondered about these, but never bought one as we've had some bad experiences of 'puppy safe' man made chews which are not safe at all!
When our girls were still young, I did get some nylon type chews for teething and not a one survived chewing without having pieces being broken off from them.....or they were that hard that they were not good and not interesting for their gums.
After spending good money for some of the 'big brand' ones...I gave in and decided that natural bones are still the best.
I'm glad you posted about this...
