This Saturday the clocks go back and the nighs start to get dark early . The other day I started thinking about safety when walking the dogs in the dark. Then we went shopping in our local Aldi and saw some walking armbands flourescent yellow with flashing red light £4 for a pack of 4. They are elasticated and fasten with velcro

Here's William wearing his not a very good piccie sorry but I took it with my phone camera

A friend of mine saw me walking him the other morning and said she could see him before she was anywere near him she was in a taxi and even the driver commented on how easy he was to see. The whippets only need one of the bands William has two to make sure the lights go all round his neck

wow there good value, ive just paid £3.95 each for them flashers and needed four of them. :(

now thats a very good idea  guess who's off to aldi's tomorrow :- "

I'm going to get some for the pup and the children.

(w00t) bargain! especially good for those of us with dark coloured dogs, what with winter setting in

Brilliant, I hope our local Aldie's got some

I've already bought some reflective tape I can fix to their coats, but flashing lights would be even better :)

What a bargain, I paid about £8 each for mine. they are really bright, I can't see either Raffy or Scrumpy once it goes darkish so they get lots of use in winter. 8)
