crates have been ordered

oh sweetie, they must really, really want to be with you! :(

its a shame you can't rig up a camera to see who it is, but I guess the knowledge isn't worth that much damage

hope your crates arrive very, very soon :luck:

aww  how could you be angry at that little face

Tia decided the kitchen bin needed emptying yesterday, trouble is she had taken stuff to the front door as well dont know why?

bloo*y H*ll i cant believe it!!

that is baaaaaaaad

i thought i had a problem but i feel better now :- "

i was advised to use a kong, radio and toys. and mostly advised to get a companion dog, but i guess you did that already and now have double trouble!!

crates...the only way forward i think.

what about not closing the door (well you cant now anyway (w00t) ) and having a tall stair gate instead so they can still see out??

 omg, that is terrible!!! (w00t) (w00t)

Good luck with your crates :luck: I know you've had lots of advice, but check out FAQ, there's a section there all about crates and crating with some old threads linked in. You might find useful stuff

Go pour yourself a stiff drink :huggles:

OMG i hope your crates arrive while you still have a house to

put them in

im wondering if these a reason ther behaving like this ..i mean i know theyve had ther times wen they wrecked ther bed and then got into the food cupboard and odd shoe here and ther but ther usually weeks apart and i can cope with that ..but this lot theyve done in 2days and much worst than theyv ever done before  nothing has changed in tour home so im at a lose as to why ther doing it

OMG (w00t) Naughty doggies

Hope your crates arrive soon Nicky

Just a thought, maybe you could claim on your house insurance :)

our little Zoe iggie was acting a bit odd a couple of nights ago, the first night she seemed reluctant to get in the dog bedroom (larder cupboard :b ), was standing in the hall looking up at me with her tail wagging merrily, as if it was breakfast time not bed time! (w00t) I had to shove her in there

the next night she did the same, then at 4 am I was woken by a banging noise (must of been loud cos it woke me up, this from someone who slept through the buncefield explosion a couple of miles away :- " ). I couldn't work it out at first then realised it was from the kitchen! I ran down stairs to find Zoe trying to dig her way through the stair gate. Obviously I thought something terrible was wrong so let her out, she looked as happy as you like :D but didn't want to go back in again, was scratching to be let upstairs  again, I had to shove her back in :(

last night, fine! nothing wrong at all - I spent all day worrying and watching and trying to suss out what was wrong

aint dogs weird?

hope it works out ok :luck:

OMG good for you keeping your temper. You should be able to claim on your dog insurance if not your house insurance, that is serious damage

hope they calm down in their crates :luck: :luck:

Poor you :( little terrors....they must really miss you all.....definately crates look the order of the day :)) Whilst you still have some home left (w00t)

Oh Goodness, I really feel for you. :huggles:

Untill the crates arrive get them some kongs and stuff with some tasty treats for them to have whilst you are gone. You can also get treat balls that they have to roll around to get dried food out of. Some nice new toys as well. Keep these put away when you are about so they don't loose their novelty value.

Have you ever tried using a DAP diffuser to calm your dogs? It releases a scent that helps to calm some dogs down. Though doesn't work on all dogs, but might be worth a try.

Crates obviously won't help the seperation anxiety or boredom that may be causing this, but will help stop your home getting destroyed whilst you are away.

I don't know how you didn't kill them, coming home to that. Let's hope there's no more destruction!! :(
