Is Devils claw safe to use on a dog who is steroid controlled due to illness ????? .......Thanks in advance Hannah :thumbsup:

As their are no licenced medicines with Devil Claw in them there is no evidence either way. Sorry I know thats not much help :b

:cheers: anyway .......I thought Devils claw could help my girl, but have always been to scared to try it on her due to the steroid/Devils claw combination :unsure: ......it works wonders for The Twit though )

I'll try and find out a bit more for you tomorrow and let you know. I haven't heard of any problems but as it's not an ingredient we use in any of our products I don't really know for sure. The problem is hasn't been used widely until the last few years so there is very limited knowledge or reports.

Thankyou so much :huggles: .......My girl has a steroid controlled desease called Polycythemia Vera ...........She has problems with old toe injuries and her "healing time" is over double a normal dogs ..........I just thought "Devils Claw" could help make her short life more comfortable and enjoyable ..........
