Ive heard the track was originally measured to suit the bigger dogs last weekend, hence it was remeasured to the proper distance.

1/Hi John who told you that ~? is it official--lol

2/ Also how many races had been run before it was noticed?

3/ Who noticed it and had they already won a heat ?

4/ Was there no one timing previous races?

Cant believe 97 dogs at Devon with experienced owners /maybe only metre tape ---160mtr=174yrds

even with an alarm clock you would notice times were to slow.=

This next bit is for Gary Bailey LOL--some old lady told me

I have heard lots in the past so now i only believe half of what i actually see ---myself --and nothing what i am told by third party-

Surely those who have done all the hard work to put this on dont need slagging now just thanks !!

Steve i'm not slagging anybody, but surely if a national event is advertised at 160yds it should be run as advertised.

People who have travelled 100's of miles expect a national event to be run as advertised.

Anyway it shouldn't bother you cause you dont travel to big events anymore.
