Last night my dishwasher passed away, it was 12 years old so I think it had done well. It was a Zanussi. I just thought I'd ask you guys for some recommendations if you don't mind of which make to buy or whether to stick with Zanussi??? Thanks in advance x

I'm a Zanussi fan

All my dishwashers have been Zanussi. Each time I have moved I have left the dishwasher behind and bought another Zanussi for the new house. My current one is now 6 years old and has been no bother at all.

Brilliant machines

I have a very good dish washer called Vick, no service charges, never breaks down, dries and puts it all away in the cupboards too. (w00t)

Mines a whirlpool...was fit with my kitchen 8 years ago now...and never gone wrong yet.. touchwood...

I have a Bosch Logix - brilliant - my best friend :huggles:

Hi there,

I'm in the same boat. I've had a candy for about 5 years. It died last week.

My husband has looked up reviews and come up with Bosch - do have a Bosch washing machine and thats been fine.

Now the cost for the one I have decided on in Currys is £299.95. So I decided not to pay more than £250.00 and I want free delivery. Code number SGS45C02GB.

I liked the idea that it has a delay start timer and a quick wash for if I forget to put in one before I go to work + half load wash. The best of all it shows you how long the wash has to go, my washing machine does this and it means I can wait maybe five minutes for a load to finish and put another one in before I go out.

Internet search and have just found coopelectricalshop.co.uk which is £250.00 + frree delivery with a 3 hour time slot. I will order later and hope for Tuesday.

Other stop was Comet website but I would have to wait until Thursday and be in between 8.00am to 6.00pm. Ok if you are in anyway but I want to go to work. Comet had a couple of reviews which I think overall are good.

Hope some of this helps.

Wendy

I've got a Bosch - 2 years old now and so far so good. It also washes well  . My first dishwasher was a Bosch too and that lasted 8 years!

The dishwasher before the present one was an Indesit (thought I'd try a cheap one to save money) ...... I would advise to steer clear - it never really washed well and died at 13 months of pretty easy use (about 3/4 times a week) ...... I rang the customer services and explained only 1 month out of warranty but they weren't interested ....... it would have cost £180 to repair - I could of got a new one for that!!
