this was designed with an IG in mind, but it's easy to alter for larger dogs of any breed by using wider webbing & altering measurements -
try to find solid, not bent-to-shape, CAST hardware for any dog of 40# or more.

As the instructions note, the integrity of the collar is contingent on Ur own sewing, & the quality of the materials. ;)

THIS how-to lets  U toggle between nylon-webbing & fabric versions:

& an INstructables how-to with photos -

note that this maker constructs the ENTIRE collar-loop, as a flat strap with a D-ring at each end - then threads the half-made leash-loop thru both of the attached D-rings   --- a different way of working. // Also, this one doesn't use box stitching [a square of stitching on every strap-end, with an 'X' connecting all 4 corners of the box], which adds durability.

I'm not keen on the '3 D-rings' version; i prefer 3 rectangular double-slots, 2 sewn at each end of the collar-loop, 1 as the slider ON the collar-loop for fitting it, & 1 D-ring, sewn at the center of the slip-loop, to attach the leash.  The rectangular slots allow the straps to lie flat, vs with a valley, & the slip-loop runs easily thru the slots - the collar is more responsive.
