We have a chest freezer for the dog food in what was the lean-to but has now been upgraded to the Utility Room and, because the cats have taken up residence in there, they have their bowls on the freezer. To stop them making it absolutely filthy when they come in with wet fee I put a towel on the top.

Django, entirely on his own, has discovered that if he stands on his very tippy toes he can either put his great plate of meat direct in the bowl and oik it to the edge or, if it is too far to the back of the freezer, pull the towel, and thus the bowl, forward and then eat the cat food!!!

Cheeky so-and-so!!!

Typical :- " they are total rouges arnt they - even though we love them. :huggles: My two would rather have cat food than their own.

My cats have to eat on the windowledge as its the only bit the dogs cant reach. Or so I thought until I walked in one day to find Rafferty bedlington on the worktop eating the cat food. He used a little stool to get up there so now thats had to be moved. He can be clever when he wants to be :b

Clever these Whippets :D

We have a 21" dog Monty who can stand sideways at the sink and lick plates in the bottom of the sink. He sort of flops his whole head and neck over sideways and I think his tongue has got longer over time to help him do this (w00t)

I'm sure it has, I think it's called evolution!!!

One of our whippies does this. the other one, only stands on his hind legs to have a peep but doesn't take anything. The one who flops his head onto one side, just cleans up everything, I'm amazed at the reach he has! Little monkey.

Clever boy...

Where there's a will there's a way

We've a certain French whippet who can open the dog food bins with the tip of her nose and if you don't spot her antics quick enough she then knocks the bin over and eats the spilt food...........along with her whippety mates!!!!!!!

Can you guess who that might be Dessie? :- "

We've also a cavalier who can get anywhere the cat food bowls are put

Ummmmmmmm ............. now let me think, :- " would that be the sister of the brandy-laced-mince-pie thief, :b who also found a dead mousy thing in the pooper-scooper and ate it :x or the "Oh Yum there's a dead mouse in the rubbish bin, I'll just eat that as well" frogdog??????
