We went to a great show yesterday at Doddington cambs and there where loads of whippets there and i wondered if anyone there is a member on here??????? I have never seen so many before at a companion show!

I got talking to a lovely lady who rescues (not a member) she has 18 whippets and lurchurs!!! All beautiful and much loved :wub: Didn't get her name but she is in Lincs but i am going to start going to the same training club as her.

My wonderful GSD Tweed won her class and got Res Best in Show :cheers:

Joe got a 3rd in puppy which was great as it was his first ever show :thumbsup:

Kylie got a 4th with my daughter in the Junior handling :wub:

We were also at a show the day before at Gorefeild and a whippet got Res BIS there!

Here is a piccy, it isn't brill as OH took it!!! I know she is leaning a bit on me!!!! She is a really good allrounder type bitch as she is not extreme any way and has super temp,colour and coat and shows like a dream!!! She has always been highly placed but because it is not easy to know judges types any more i have only done a few championship show's with her but we did get to crufts,Joe will be easier to show as he is more german but still not over done. Tweed also has won a pastoral group at an open show :wub: Above all of this she is truely my one in a million dog :wub:

Doddington is just down the road from me.

Wish I'd known about the show, I'll try not to miss next years.

I don't know anything about showing, but I can imagine the thrill of winning, must be such a great feeling.
