Well, it was lovely and quiet in the park at 6 am the other morning, just the sound of the river and a lone heron watching me.... :lol: Wish I could manage to get up at that time most mornings now it's getting lighter earlier.
It's easy enough to get out into open country round here, except I don't fancy muddy hill walks before work and the park is just down the road. Just enough time to get them out for a quick stretch before I have to run and catch the train............(won't catch the OH walking them in the morning, he'll do the lunchtime shift).
Never mind....luckily you have alternatives, as you say....

Luckily I rarely need to bother with parks living surrounded by so much open land ... I had just thought it would be nice for an (unmuddy) change. Won't be going again anytime soon! I do feel for those who have little choice but to use public parks.
