Can anyone recommend where to get a brass dog cage from (must be brass or it won't match my kitchen!!!)? I seem to be having trouble finding a cheap one  There is one on ebay but its a bit small I think.

Lucy

you tried google

Argos do brass ones.I think they are £29.99 and they are 30ins long x 21ins wide they will comfortably hold one decent sized Whippet or two small ones.

You have a brass kitchen???? how strange! lol

Yes, I was going to suggest Argos. We got one from there and it's been fine, still going strong in fact after a few years.

are you thinking of getting another whippie lucy, i know you would love another  :))

NOT BRASS Aw! that has ruined everything now,my imagination was running rife there for a while thinking about your brass kitchen!!! (w00t) (w00t) mind you I would'nt fancy all that polishing - not to mention the small fact that you would need shares in Brasso!!!!!!! :p

I have to say I really DO NOT recommend the ones sold in Argos!!!!

I bought one for my then 6mth old whippet x. She was underweight when I got her and had a broken leg. After her first night in the crate I came down in the morning to see the bottom front bars all bent in badly and some of the top bars snapped and bent in dangerously.

I know of a few other dog owners on another website that have had similar problems with them. I would avoid them at all costs and go for something stronger.

Good Luck.
