We were wondering if anyone had a similar experience as us.
My dog had a fall, and immediately had a seizure. He had never had a seizure before, so we think the fit was caused by the fall, thoughit's possible there was an underlyiing condition, but as we said, he neve had a fit previously.

Our vet put him on a short course of Levetiracetam, during which time he had no fits, but the course ran out before we could start a new one, so we basically went a day without Levet., and he has been having seizures ever since. They have now gotten much more frequent, so the vet prescribed an additional course of Soliphen, to be taken with the Levet., which we began today, 1 June, 2024. We are also going to add CBD when it arrives.
As we said,we were wondering if anyone out there has had similar experience with fits and those particular drugs - Levetiracetam and Soliphen, also CBD - what the results were, how long before the frequency of the seizures lessened, etc, and anything else you might tell us would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much,
Bruce & Carol

I have no answers but didn't want to read and run. I hope you get him sorted out soon, it must be so distressing.

All the best to you for finding a solution.
