My dog world comes through the post and usually arrives on Thursday. Certainly by Friday. Mine's not arrived today, so was just wondering if anyone else has theirs, or if not, then I assume production is running a bit late.

I get mine from the papershop on a Friday, I collected mine this morning

Just curious. In your opinions is Dog world best mag doggy wise?

Just looking at some others including Your Dog.

However Dog World seems to be very popular.

Also may I ask what in DW do u look forward to seeing/reading each month?

Do you tend to look at the ads too?

My dad's alway's bought the DW and i've just carried on. When i get mine the first think i look at is the whippet notes and then the scottish notes and then read the paper from front cover to back

Mine came this morning (Saturday) so I suspect they had a slight delay since it seems most got it a day late.

I get both. I got Dog World originally, but then found that there were elements of Our Dogs that I preferred (like they print the critiques in a MUCH more timely manner). So I got them both for a year, and decided that there were things in each I liked. So saddo me, gets them both, then lets them pile up for a couple of months before sitting down and spending an afternoon going thorugh them.

Personally I read about 1/2 the articles, few of the opinions. I read the letters, the critiques, and the breed notes. I also check out the show entries and sometimes browse the ads.

Not got mine...

They claim to have problems re postal strikes - but I thought those were only in the South West region of the UK.

I too am in the RG postal code area.

My DW has been late for the last month now

I pay by DD and it used to always get here on a Thurs, now I'm lucky to get it on a Friday...

I really liked Dog World but I get Our Dogs because they are much quicker with results and reports and also print more of them.

I go straight to Ch results, then Open show results, then breed notes for both Iggies and whippies and then the rest if I have time.

Then I put it on the kitchen floor for the dogs to wee on  (My old girl is incontinent at night.)

Thank u for replies.I get Our Dog Mag and must say I find it an interesting read.

Will get both from now on.Love the info and the ads so interesting.

Also for marketing purposes for our new doggy site.Wanted to see what peeps look at.Site will be ready for launch shortly.Anyone with good pics of dogs please send them as would love to promote whippies and all other sight hounds to show how dedicated owners are.All dog breeds welcome. There will also be many free samples of foods especially home baked natural and organic treats many of our clients and friends use in ring.

P.S pm me if u would like some
