I really like the look of neckerchief's on certain dogs. I really want one for Oreo :)

I wondered what's the reasoning behind it? It is a fashion thing or is there other reasons behind a dog wearing one?

Just wondered really.

Not my thing, but I see dog charities have started selling them which is a great way of showing your support at the same time if you like them

not my thing either a dog should be left to be a

dog . fashion or money making i dont care. a nice coller and coat for winter shou.ld be all they need

Fashion, lol . We have a few themed ones ie. Children in Need, Halloween, Christmas, comic relief when the dogs are out n about with kids or at events. We are looking into 'Pirates for Ellie' ones in memory of our neice age 7 to supoort Claire House Childrens Hospice to sell to family & friends etc Her Mum has already done sweatshirts so now all our doggies don't want to miss out.

I dont think there is any particular reason behind them, they just look smart on some dogs.Have considered one for Rocky

Some of them are a fashion thing, but some are also intended for cooling in hot weather and contain gel beads that you soak in water before putting on the dog. Molly had a couple of these, but we decided that since she had such a tendency to overheat we would dunk the whole dog in water as an alternative in hot weather, so her bandanas are now being used by her boyfriend, who is a very sweet shihtzu called Petie.

A yellow bandana may be an indication that the dog needs some space and cannot cope with others in close proximity. There may also be a yellow ribbon on the dog's lead.

Leah and Rosie have a Christmas one each.

Red with white fur trim, they just wear them on Christmas day. x

I wanted 1 for my irish bull terrier mitchell lookin for an irish flag sort of thing cant seem to find one anyway !!

I was sent one as a gift for my Lab , he just looked ridiculous in it so it went to the rescue charity shop !

My Spitz would probably look rather silly in one given she's all sticky-out fur, but I don't hate them - on some dogs they look rather cute/seem to add some extra personality.

I actually passed a woman walking her small dog and they were wearing matching coats and neck scarves. No I'm not joking  I have no idea of the breed of dog as I couldn't see a lot of it!!

to my shame jampot i have made this error!! I don't really like clothes on dogs, then i got a whippet and its mandatory in winter! My waterproofs are black, as is his coat, he also has a green snood, and my favourite colour is green, so this happens quite often. My friends love to point out what a pair of geeks we are.. Oh dear :(

Lol! I'm talking matching leopard print coats, complete with bright pink bows and bright pink neck scarves. Nothing practical about the outfits I saw, it was a pure fashion statement ha ha!!
