Our Nockie loves sleeping totally under her bedding when it's cold . I am concerned she could do harm to herself. I just don't know how she gets enough air.

I'm new to this Site so I'm sorry if this is an old Topic. Would you have any thoughts on this.

Well, my girls sleep under heavy covers and it does not seem to do any harm to them. :)

Is your Nockie girl or boy and can we please have some pics?

Bluebell sleeps under the covers as do an awful lot of other whippets apparently - it doesn't even have to be cold! Its a whippets natural place in life it seems :D

awww she's lovely, my gypsy sleeps under a big furry blanket at night time

she has her whole head stuffed under it as i type :)

Awww she's a wee beauty

My jack russell Buster used to INSIST on having an old cardigan (with buttons removed) put over him when he was in his bed - he wouldn't settle until he was tucked in!!!

Tina doesn't seem all that fussed (yet!) about sleeping under covers - as long as she has the settee or our bed she's happy :- "

Neil was listening to his friends who were saying don't let them sleep on the bed or jump up on the settee so he tried to implement these rules with our girl.......it lasted ONE DAY!!! (w00t) She looked SO miserable and dejected at having to suffer the indignities of sleeping on a DOG BED  I told him that whippets are different and I wanted my girl up next to me and, like I say, she was back up there within 24 hours!

Hello Schmick, I'm Vanessa. I'm the lady that has Nockie's brother Striker! (w00t)

:D Sounds right. Nockie lasted 30 mins in her crate the 1st night she was with us.

I do wonder how they stay alive breathing in their own carbon dioxide?

ya know, Striker likes to bury under his covers with Georgia at night when they sleep! it must run in the family!

Well done at the show Vanessa! Your going to have a lot of fun showing him, given his breeding.

I love my beautiful coloured whippets! one day i would love to get a blue one to show......maybe the next time lana breeds cash i may be lucky!
