Meant to add that once they've settled they lie and sleep together and sleep together at night so long as it's not me that settle them down. They all enjoy their walks together and run around on their own or together in a pack.  When things kick off the other two dogs just get as far away as they can.  There are no other niggles with each other. The eldest is sprightly for his age but I also think he has slight blindness although the vet said not.  At times it's as if he has to scent another of the dogs before he cand stand down. 
 
with 4 intact Ms, no one can say at this remove & with the info at hand, precisely how each dog affects the others - whether the combatants vis a vis each other, or the apparent spectators.

I'd find someone with both academic & experience credentials -
a k9 consultant who's certified via the IAABC [an int'l organization for professionals], a CAAB / certified applied animal-behaviorist, a VET-behaviorist -
i wouldn't personally ask for help from a trainer, no matter how experienced or willing. This, IMO & IME of over 35-years with dogs, requires the big guns.
