Just like to thanks to Debbie and Craig for spending all morning and most of the afternoon helping me look for Dot (Full stop) ,just hope the pies Debbie's making for the open Saturday are not burnt ...

The dogs were the kitchen with the back door open and my gates always bolted, i went to hang the washing out and the gate was ajar Grace & Lisa were stood looking at the gate enough to say Dots gone...she has never gone off herself ever, she is now 12 years old so i was really worried as its red hot today and she hasn't got much road sense.

We drove everywhere and asked people she was spotted in quite a few different places, i reported it to our local police who rang me to say an old lady had handed her into the police station , she was found in our local shopping center chasing the pigeons , which i might add is about a 2 mile walk from where i live.

She is home now asleep on our bed thank god she was gone about 4 hours.

glad she is safe. what a worry you must have had today.

A happy ending to what could have been something more of an upsetting experience. I am so glad that she is back and sleeping, nice to see at her age she is still trying to catch pigeons, Rest easy Dot.

Glad she's home after her outing  you must have been worried sick, dogs dont ya just love em :)

Phew :) Glad she's home.

Every time Blaze dissapears I have my heart in my mouth too, we can walk up to 5 miles from home in all directions so I know she could be anywhere.

Extra stress with her being 12 though, doesn't she know she is supposed to take it easy at that age  .

Had out own escapade this morning as the neighbours Cat came in the house bold as brass and sat in the hallway, Blaze wouldn't stand for that !!!

Chased it out of the house, leapt on the Wheelie Bin, cleared a 5 and a half foot fence into the neighbours garden :teehee: t**t !

:sweating: :sweating: :sweating: Glad Dot got home safe, good job the old ldy had the sense to hand her in, some daft sods would just leave them wondering the street.

:huggles: to Dot

I am sure if Ricky (Guess When) could see what his mum is up too and could post on here he would say mum what are you like if you really want a change of scene get Gary and Dee to take you to where I was (see photo) it's a lot more fun than shopping centres. Being serious though I am glad that she got home safe and sound and back where she belongs at home.
