what kind of starter motor did you use and does the shank have to be 5 3/4'' long????:thumbsup:
If I can find anymore I'll put them on.
Hi ive got an newish escort starter motor rigged up [not old type with separate solenoid ], ive got lamp cord to bell switch green/yellow and grey together and brown and black wires together then ive put g / yellow and brown to positive cable and black and grey to the small nut on solenoid , when i push the bell switch the cog pushes out but it wont spin and it makes a clicking noise theres power getting there but it just wont spin !! was woundering if any of yous could give me any ideas to what iam doing wrong and if iam missing anything CHEERS !!!!!!Alrite Darren,me owl mate.Promised you these a ew days ago. This wee baby has served me well, for about 15 years now mate.Simplicity,itself.Just put me 1st cellinoid on it though.Am gona patent this wee lure.As ive been askeed to make quite a few of them.Did 3 last year, and could have sold 3/4 more. The dearest part of it,not counting the 1st battery. Was £25 for the synthetic sleave. That goes on the shaft, and fits exact,in the center of the wheel.Cud have been done a lot cheaper mind.If i could get me hands on a wee table lathe. This latest battery ive just got Cost me a fiver. Its a 12 volt ,22amp.5 amp hour, more than my last one, that done me no harm, after 7 years. This one came out of a golf buggy, and was apparently. Not holding the charge.Someone was a fool, lol.
Think thats quite enough boy.Ive covered most,if not all the angels. The heavyest part of this wee lure,is the battery. It can be just picked up,and carried with ease.
