Draught-proof dog flap? staywell aluminium?

I'm looking for a flap for a Yorkie to go into a wooden door in the house of an elderly couple.

The possibility of a draught from the flap, particularly in the winter, is a real worry for them. Are there any flaps that close over the hole completely so that air only escapes when the dog goes through?

I'm considering a Staywell Aluminium Door (medium - http://www.staywell.co.uk/Intl/IE/Products/Medium-Dogs/600-Series), or perhaps a Ferplast Swing 11 (http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_flaps_nets/manual_cat_flap/14519#more). Does anyone have experience with these flaps? Are they draughty?

Update: Both of those products have reviews on Amazon saying that they are not good for draughts!

I have 7 assorted breeds/sizes plus cats and I have a PlexiDor dog door. Expensive but totally secure, draught prrof and user friendly. (dogdoors.co.uk)

I know the rubbery bendy ones can get a bit drafty, also the two you have linked to, are quite big for a yorkie! my grannies one used to fit through a catflap

I have a plexidor too, expensive to buy but absolutely brilliant. I do find on very windy days it blows open, I think twice over the last winter but in the main it is great. May be a bit excessive for a yorkie though

Thanks for the Plexidor suggestion, that seems to be ideal, even if the opening is twice the width of the dog.

I'm assuming that we're talking about the "doors that open sideways" and not the much more expensive Plexidor Electronic.

I guess Yorkies come in different sizes, this is one 16cm wide at the shoulders so those products would give 2-3cm on either side of him.

Yes, the saloon type plexidor, money well spent and they sell spares (not that I've needed any) so it should last forever. It also comes with a steel security cover for when you're away and can be locked if you don't want the dog out, or in
