I know this is a stupid question but....

I have noticed that Macey has some rather intense activity which I have be putting down to dreaming of catching that damn rabbit!!!

She had conscussion (sp) after the accident and as far as we are aware then was nothing said with the hospital.

Before and with previous dogs the dreaming was just a flicking of the feet, but Macey is what I would describe as fitting but she is not collasping and fitting - it just seems to be in her sleep???

Think she has been through enough before dragging her back to the vets again.........

Any ideas?????

Sienna does it Linda very violent movements sometimes, her legs seem to fling out, sometimes all at once, I even wake her up at times if she's on the settee so she doesn't fall off  ,she didn't do it before the accident I think its just that the brain messages must going haywire when she is dreaming, if it makes you feel more at ease ask your vet he might want to do some tests, I am used to it now and it doesn't seem to have any after effects on her so I didnt bother going to the vet but it depends what your comfortable with you know Macey best :huggles:

Even very excessive movements during dreaming are really quite different from fitting . With fitting the muscles go rigid and their mouth is open with excessive salivation . They may let out a high pitched cry . also they are often incontinent of urine and /or faeces . Afterwards they are disorientated for a while . I had a dog who was an epileptic and that is just my experience .
