Dippy managed to get her head in the cleaning bucket, it had about a litre of water in it with a cap and a bit of dettol multi action anti bac cleaner in it.

She only managed to get a couple of slurps out of it before I grabbed her...a couple too many I think... :(

She drank a bowl full of water straight after and went to sleep. -_-

I phoned the vet and he seems to think she'll be ok, maybe get the runs or be sick!! :x

Has this happened to anyone on here??

Does anyone have any advice, apart from not letting her get her head in the bucket again? :b

Hi

Artie is quite partial to a drop of toilet water with a dash of Blue Loo !! We now keep all the loo seat downs. :x

Kate

Well, at least she'll have clean insides!! (w00t)

Seriously though, if she only had a little bit, she should be fine. If she hasn't thrown up by now I don't think she will, might come out the other end though. You never know - she might have learnt her lesson if it tasted horrid!?

Update...

There has been no ill effects with Dippy drinking from the bucket...thankfully

The little so and so selpt all night, snoring her head off -_- -_- -_-

And is up and about running round after eating her breakfast

One of the OHs Akitas drank a 50 cl bottle of Glennfiddich the other evening  and was fine, she could still walk straight and didn't even appear to have a hangover the next day.

Emilie whippet is partial to a drop of Whiskey and Coke especially if it has ice in :- "
