Thanks for looking. Dogs are now fast asleep!!

There was something on a TV programme last week about The London Gliding Club, I think it was Selina Scott having a flight with an instructor, lots of talk of thermals. I wish I could remember the programme, probably something like Country Ways. Lovely countryside and so near to your home. I will have to put some pictures of The South Downs on when I have a minute.

It is lovely there as well. I have a friend in Hailsham and we I visit her we walk over the South Downs!

Yes I would love to do that, been gliding but never paragliding
My OH learnt to paraglide in this country and in 2004 he went on a 2 week paragliding course in Spain (weather is more reliable there). The first week went well, but unfortunately during the next week he had a bad landing (dropping too quickly) and ended up in hospital in Cadiz, where he remained for 5 weeks. :- :- He sold his paraglider after that!!!

Crikey, I might give that some more thought now. It's all good fun till someone gets hurt. :D
