Dylan Has To Have An Operation Tomorrow, He Has A Tunour

He's home with a big scar from his stifle to the flap of skin on his tuck up. Very stiff. no jumping on his sofa! No playing or jumping, in other words, don't move. Poor lad, we just have to wait for the lab results now.
Glad that he's home. That's going to be tricky keeping him still so that wound can heal. Fingers crossed that the lump isn't anything nasty.

I do hope the results are cler for Dylan - hopefully you won't have to wait too long.

Just to share an expereince we had with our girl - she had a spot sounding very similar to yours in the same place - took her to the vet and had it operated on, she healed really well despite the anxiety of the vet due to the whippet's thin skin. We decided not to have the red lump examined (long story) - but about 4 months later the whole scar area of covered in similar red lumps of differnet sizes - needless to say we were devastaed. The point of the story however is that they all disapeared within about 6 weeks leaving a claen scar and she never had any more trouble. The vet still has no idea what they were - in retrospect I wish we hadn't operated but the vet said the lump looked typical of an untreatable and very aggressive tumour.

Just a reminder that when things seem bleak they can trun out just fine.

Missed this yesterday as I didn't get online.

I'm glad he's ok and back home with you.

I hope the results come back from the lab clear :luck: :luck:

:luck: :luck: :luck: For Dylan, hope the results come through clear.
